UCB is seeking a Global HVAC & Black Utilities Expert to lead global strategies across our manufacturing and research facilities. Based at our campus in Belgium, you will define engineering standards, support CAPEX projects, and drive innovation while ensuring safety, sustainability, and compliance.

You will collaborate with engineering leads, site utilities experts, and external partners worldwide to build a robust utilities network and share best practices across the UCB global network.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Extensive HVAC and utilities experience in regulated pharma/biotech environments.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid systems, automation, piping, and utility networks.
• Experience with cGMP compliance, qualification, validation, and risk management methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence multidisciplinary stakeholders globally.
• Professional proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Define and deploy global HVAC & Black Utilities strategies and technical standards.
• Provide expert support for feasibility studies, concept designs, and CAPEX projects.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, safety, and sustainability requirements.
• Perform HVAC analyses, thermal balances, and utilities assessments for critical projects.
• Mentor engineering teams and build technical capabilities across the global network.
• Identify innovations and promote digital solutions throughout the utilities lifecycle.
