UCB is seeking an Environmental Regulatory Intelligence Lead to join the Environmental Sustainability team at the Brussels HQ. You will anticipate and respond to evolving environmental regulations, and translate developments into strategic business insights to support sustainable growth.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Legal, EHS, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, guiding mitigation plans, governance, and external engagement to shape policy and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field.
8+ years in environmental regulatory affairs, sustainability, or EHS.
Strong knowledge of global environmental regulations and reporting frameworks.
Proven ability to assess regulatory risks and translate requirements into action.
Experience influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Responsabilités

Own the regulatory intelligence portfolio across local to global levels.
Oversee AI-enabled intelligence tools and translate signals into actionable insights.
Prioritize signals by impact, risk, timelines, and exposure.
Coordinate with Legal, EHS, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, R&D, Procurement, Packaging, and Supply Chain.
Define mitigation and implementation plans with experts, and ensure timely execution.
Escalate cross-functional matters through governance channels for enterprise decisions.
Provide dashboards, heatmaps, and roadmaps for senior stakeholders.
Represent UCB externally with industry forums and regulatory bodies.
Ensure traceability, audit readiness, and documentation for compliance.
Build capability through onboarding and workflow refinement.
