Yara International is seeking a Regulatory Compliance expert within its Corporate HESQ Center of Excellence. You will translate complex health, environment, safety and quality regulations into clear business actions to strengthen compliance and manage risk across functions and geographies.

The role involves monitoring legislation, developing practical procedures, guiding audits, and building regulatory capability across projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemistry, chemical sciences or engineering.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and adapting to regulatory change.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with ability to translate technical requirements into clear advice.
• Collaborative, flexible approach across disciplines, cultures and stakeholder groups.
• Strong IT and digital skills, including analytical tools and data management.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and interpret HESQ legislation, standards and regulatory developments.
• Translate requirements into practical procedures, controls and actions.
• Manage and improve the regulatory compliance process from identification to follow-up.
• Advise management and operations on obligations, risks and responses.
• Provide regulatory expertise for permits, registrations and reports.
• Identify risks, gaps and emerging issues and support mitigations.
• Support audits, inspections and investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Build regulatory capability through training and guidance.
