Sibelco is launching a Global Graduate Programme in Belgium for a two-year rotation across operations and laboratory excellence. You’ll start with a permanent contract and gain hands-on experience on real business projects, shaping leadership potential from day one.

As a Graduate Operations & Laboratory Improvement Engineer in Dessel, you’ll analyse processes, optimise bagging and sample preparation, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver measurable improvements and international

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Fluent English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in manufacturing operations and laboratory technologies.
• Willingness to relocate internationally for year two.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Analyse production processes and identify bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
• Optimise bagging operations and production run cycles.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process enhancements.
• Develop and update XRF analytical methods and calibration lines.
• Optimize sample preparation methods using wax pellets and glass bead fusion.
• Validate and implement new laboratory methods and work instructions.
• Become proficient in XRF software to support method development.
• Collaborate with production, laboratory and maintenance teams on improvements.
• Present project findings to technical and operational stakeholders.
• Strengthen Dessel Cluster’s operational performance and analytical expertise.
