Obelis Group in Brussels is seeking an Accountant to provide high-level service to clients and support the Accounting Department with AR, AP, and payroll tasks.

You will process bank and Visa statements, assist with VAT, balance sheets, and reports, and help implement ISO procedures in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Finance, 2–4 years' experience, EU work permit, and fluency in English; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in Finance/Accounting.
• Knowledge of Belgian accounting law.
• Experience with Belgian payroll system and payroll processes.
• EU work permit required.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• French is a plus.
• Knowledge of WinBooks is an advantage.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-level service to internal and external clients.
• Handle accounts receivable: invoices, payments, collections.
• Process accounts payable: supplier invoices.
• Process bank and Visa statements.
• Support reconciliations, VAT, balance sheets and reports.
• Assist Payroll Officer with daily payroll tasks.
• Support ISO implementation and assist with administrative tasks.
