Credendo is hiring a Credit Risk Analyst to assess international trade insurance applications, analyze financial and qualitative factors and recommend acceptability of risks in line with client needs and Credendo values.

You will support decision committees, manage relationships with clients and brokers, and work on a variety of export transactions while gaining exposure to product development in a collaborative, multilingual team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics/finance or law with economics training.
• First professional experience in financial or insurance sector.
• Excellent knowledge of French with written and spoken proficiency in Dutch and English, or Dutch with professional proficiency in French and English.
• Strong analytical mindset with synthesis and editorial skills.
• Well organized, accurate and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Autonomy with team spirit.

Responsabilités

• Assess (insurance) applications related to international trade transactions and make recommendations.
• Submit proposals to decision committees or decide on acceptance of risks within authority.
• Develop and manage relations with clients and/or brokers, domestically and abroad.
• Handle a wide range of export transactions and contribute to product development.
• Engage in in-house projects and provide technical input for new or revised products.
• Learn and grow within a collaborative team of experienced colleagues.
