Virya Energy N.V. seeks a Group Compliance Officer to strengthen its compliance framework across the Group. You will translate regulations into practical policies, embed compliance into processes and systems, and partner with teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure integrity and accountable growth.

The role covers governance, control testing, issues management, and transparent reporting in a growing international energy business. Remote/hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in compliance, risk, audit, legal or governance.
• Proven ability to design and implement compliance frameworks from scratch.
• Experience building mature compliance in complex organisations.
• Strong communication with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain the compliance governance framework across the Group.
• Lead end-to-end regulatory compliance processes and translate requirements into policies.
• Support implementation into processes, controls and systems with business owners.
• Monitor controls, identify gaps, and drive remediation and improvement.
• Manage issues and incidents from intake to resolution and root cause analysis.
• Provide transparent management reporting on risks, controls and progress.
• Advise and raise awareness to promote a culture of integrity and accountability.
