A global logistics solutions provider in Kapellen, Belgium is hiring a commissioning engineer. This full-time position involves inspecting, testing, and commissioning process installations, while providing technical support for delivered installations. Candidates should have a technical degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, especially in the process industry. The role requires fluency in English and Dutch, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Experience in the process industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel onsite for three weeks, then return home for one week.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and commission complete process installations.
• Provide technical support to delivered installations.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and internal organization.

Connaissances

Technical degree or relevant experience

Experience as a commissioning engineer

Knowledge of motors and frequency converters

Knowledge of PLCs

Good communication skills

Fluent in English and Dutch

Ability to work independently and in a team
