BESIX is seeking a Buyer to support an optimal, controlled and timely procurement process in collaboration with the project team. You will focus on obtaining the most economical price for Works, Supplies and Services while considering scheduling, technical requirements, risk management and QHSES.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and report to the Head Buyer, guiding the decision-making process and ensuring procurement aligns with project goals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Eng, Mechanical Eng, Structural Eng or Architecture.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in construction/procurement.
• Proven experience in procurement and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and contract administration.
• Fluent in Dutch (written and spoken) and good knowledge of English.

Responsabilidades

• Organise procurement within an assigned scope.
• Involved in the entire procurement process from strategy to contract closure.
• Advise project team on procurement-related matters.
• Collaborate with design, construction planning, finance and legal teams.
• Negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers and service providers.
