Job summary

Airswift seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to join our global projects. The role focuses on Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal), design and commissioning of Industrial Ethernet networks, HMI design, and safety concept development across customer sites worldwide.

You will collaborate with cross-functional international teams, review P&IDs and instrument lists, and support FAT activities. Domestic and international travel for short- to medium-term assignments is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automation engineering or related field.
• Experience with process plant industry products and technologies.
• Experience with cross-functional international teams.
• On-site commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Siemens PLC programming and commissioning using TIA Portal.
• Design and commissioning of industrial networks (Industrial Ethernet and Modbus).
• Functional analysis and safety concept development.
• Customer signal interface and HMI design.
• FAT support at supplier sites and network topology concepts.
• Profinet architecture knowledge and diagnostics.
• Review of P&IDs, SIL calculations, instrument lists, wiring diagrams.
• IEC 62443 cybersecurity basics and secure network design.
