Job summary

Select Group in Belgium is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of PLC/SCADA solutions for high-tech industrial equipment. You will work with cross-functional teams across global projects to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will travel up to 30%, drive innovative automation architectures, and deliver functional testing, specifications, and upgrades. Siemens TIA Portal/Step7 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive PLC programming experience in high-tech industrial equipment.
• Experience with SCADA systems and automation architectures.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams on global projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to support customers and installations.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation in machine automation and develop PLC/SCADA solutions.
• Create and maintain machine specifications for automation projects.
• Perform functional testing and validation prior to shipment and support upgrades.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define automation architectures and network configurations.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on programming in Siemens environments.
