Job summary

Unilin seeks a GenAI Platform Architect to define the architecture of a shared enterprise GenAI platform that is secure, scalable, interoperable and reusable across business units. You will bridge AI engineering, application and data architecture, cloud infrastructure, integration, security and governance.

You will lead architecture decisions for model access, AI Gateway, RAG and observability, while ensuring cost efficiency and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in solution, platform, cloud or enterprise architecture.
• Production experience with distributed applications and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of agentic patterns, orchestration, LLM evaluation, model integration and RAG.
• Experience with APIs, identity, networking, observability and infrastructure as code.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence multiple engineering teams without direct authority.
• Experience in Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI.

Responsibilities

• Define target and transition architectures for the enterprise GenAI platform.
• Design architecture patterns for model access, AI Gateway, agent runtime, RAG, knowledge retrieval and observability.
• Establish environment, regional, subscription and business-unit segmentation patterns.
• Create reference architectures for workloads like conversational assistants, knowledge assistants and MCP servers.
• Review significant platform designs and guide teams toward standard capabilities and approved patterns.
• Mentor engineers and architects in GenAI architecture and production-readiness practices.
