Datashift is seeking a GenAI Engineer to strengthen our AI team in Gent. You will develop GenAI solutions, collaborate with domain experts, and contribute to PoCs to prove business value.

You will maintain scalable ML pipelines, deploy production-ready models in the cloud, and stay ahead with new techniques to boost performance. You will work with software engineers and DevSecOps and mentor junior members.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in machine learning projects.
• Deep expertise in implementing, deploying and optimizing cloud-based AI solutions at scale.
• GenAI experience and applications.
• Proficient in Python and software development practices.
• Familiar with MLOps principles and CI/CD for ML pipelines.
• Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Fluent in English and Dutch is a must.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a scalable and efficient codebase for training, testing, and deploying ML models.
• Deploy production-ready ML pipelines in the cloud.
• Experiment with new techniques to improve model performance.
• Collaborate with software engineers and DevSecOps to integrate models into customer environments.
• Capture stakeholder feedback and iterate to increase value.
• Coach junior team members and provide technical guidance.
• Act as tech-lead on a per-project basis.
