Verhaert New Products & Services NV is seeking a Functional Safety Architect in Hasselt, Belgium. This role involves ensuring compliance with functional safety standards for electrified powertrain technologies, driving safety across multidisciplinary teams.

Successful candidates will have a Master's degree, a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, and a strong understanding of functional safety concepts and ISO 26262. A hybrid work model is offered, alongside exciting engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive systems engineering, embedded systems or functional safety.
• Extensive hands-on experience with ISO 26262 and its application within automotive product development.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain the functional safety concept for complex automotive systems.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 requirements.
• Support engineering teams in functional safety activities throughout the development lifecycle.
