Koda Tech in Brussels is seeking a Senior Functional Business Analyst to join a large-scale digital transformation programme focused on modernising legacy applications, data environments, and business processes. You will bridge business, data, architecture and technology teams to analyse legacy systems, support data migration activities and design future-state solutions.

• Experience as a Business Analyst and/or Functional Analyst.
• Experience in complex legacy or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise in data mapping, impact analysis, and process modelling.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and business process documentation.
• Experience supporting data migration projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

Senior Functional Business Analyst (Data Transformation) | Brussels | Hybrid

I am currently looking for a Senior Functional Business Analyst to join a large-scale digital transformation programme focused on modernising legacy applications, data environments, and business processes.

This is an opportunity to work on a complex transformation initiative where you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business, data, architecture, and technology teams. You will be involved in the analysis of legacy systems, data migration activities, data modelling, and the design of future-state solutions within a large and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing applications, data structures, business processes, and system dependencies.


• Translate legacy business logic into modern functional processes and target-state solutions.


• Perform data mapping, impact assessments, and migration analysis.


• Document business rules, process flows, and data definitions.


• Design and maintain data and semantic models.


• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.


• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, security specialists, and project teams.


• Support the validation of migrated data, applications, and processes.


• Ensure quality, traceability, and consistency throughout the analysis lifecycle.
