eXalt is seeking a Functional Analyst focusing on UML and API integration. You will bridge business users and technical teams, analyzing requirements and designing system interfaces that integrate with SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.

You will gather needs from stakeholders, translate requirements into UML-based specifications, and support APIs, testing, and deployment. Fluent English plus French or Dutch are required, with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Developer, or Integration Consultant.
• Strong analytical and structuring abilities.
• Solid experience with UML modeling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, Lucidchart).
• Hands-on experience with API concepts (REST, SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman).
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Understanding of application lifecycle management and data-driven systems.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies (Azure) and containerization platforms (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and native in French and/or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for functional issues and system behaviors.
• Recommend and drive improvements across business processes and interfaces.

About the role

As a Functional Analyst focusing on UML and API integration, you will be the bridge between business users and technical teams. You will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing system interfaces, and supporting critical applications that integrate with major enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.

• Gather and analyze business needs from various stakeholders, with a focus on enterprise-wide integration
• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications using UML methodology (use case, sequence, class diagrams, etc.)
• Design, document, and maintain API interfaces (REST/SOAP), and ensure compatibility with systems like SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow
• Support development teams throughout the implementation phase with clear functional deliverables
• Coordinate functional testing and organize User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for functional issues and system behaviors
• Recommend and drive improvement initiatives across business processes and interfaces
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a role such as Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Developer, or Integration Consultant
• Excellent analytical and structuring abilities
• Solid experience with UML modeling tools (e.g. Enterprise Architect, Lucidchart, etc.)
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with API concepts (RESTful/SOAP, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman)
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g. Python), SQL, and Excel
• Understanding of application lifecycle management and data-driven systems
• Exposure to Cloud technologies (Azure), and containerization platforms (like Kubernetes) is a plus
• Fluent in English AND native in French and/or Dutch
