Sonetas is seeking a Functional Analyst in Mechelen to collaborate with the product owner and customers. You will translate needs into actionable features for our SAAS platform and validate them with the development team.

You will also assist in integrations, build APIs, and guide the support team in resolving customer questions. You are a team player with strong communication, capable of switching between abstract and concrete concepts, and experienced in designing SAAS software solutions,

Sonetas is the leading provider of practice management software for veterinarians in Belgium, with plans to expand into the Netherlands and France. With a dedicated team of about 15 people, we are a growing scale-up looking for passionate individuals to join us in transforming the veterinary industry.

Who we're looking for

To support our growth qualitatively, we are looking for a Functional Analyst within Sonetas to join our team in Mechelen. Sonetas is market leader in Belgium for veterinary administrative software (SAAS) and has ambitions to become so in other regions. Sonetas is a small, dynamic organization where you have a strong impact on the solutions created.

You will work closely with the product owner and customers to identify the real needs and together with the development team translate these into simple yet powerful new functionalities in our application(s) which you then functionally validate and test. You will also help develop integrations and build out our own APIs. You guide the support team in answering customer questions. You will collaborate on both a web application, a mobile app, a platform for end users and back-end connections with third parties.

You are a communicative team player who can switch smoothly between abstract and concrete, are keen on creating high quality software in an agile way and have experience designing (SAAS) software solutions, integrations and APIS.

Required studies

• Academic (focused) bachelor's degree (ABA)
• HOBU and university education
• Equivalent by experience.
• At least 2 years of experience
• Experience in writing functional specifications and guiding implementations
