• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, senior level.
• 5+ years in a similar role with end-to-end project delivery.
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with knowledge of the other language.
• Experience designing test plans, test cases and coordinating UAT.
• Experience modeling with UML/BPMN and API-based integrations.
• Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) and web/mobile platforms.

Our client operates in the energy sector and supports the energy transition through digital services and applications. Their portfolio includes customer-facing platforms providing access to energy consumption data, energy community management tools, solutions dedicated to vulnerable customers, and a digital data hub connected to mobile and web applications through web services.

To strengthen their Energy Transition team (approximately 15 team members), they are looking for a Functional Analyst.

1/ YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Functional Analyst, you will:

• Participate in the evolution of business applications supporting the energy transition.
• Analyze business needs and gather requirements from stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Define solution options aligned with the IT architecture and the broader application landscape.
• Validate proposed solutions with business stakeholders.
• Act as the bridge between business teams and development partners.
• Produce and maintain functional analyses and design documentation.
• Manage requirements and functional analysis using methodologies and tools such as UML and Enterprise Architect.
• Review and challenge technical solutions proposed by development partners.
• Monitor the quality of development deliverables.
• Coordinate testing activities, including test plans and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support deployment activities and ensure production readiness.
• Maintain project and reference documentation.
• Contribute to application management alongside development teams.
• Analyze, document and monitor defects through resolution.
• Provide second-line support and contribute to incident and problem management.

2/ PROFILE

Must Have

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (Senior level).
• Fluent in French or Dutch, with a good knowledge of the other national language.
• Experience designing test plans, test cases and coordinating UAT.
• Experience facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience delivering projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Strong requirements analysis skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Experience with API-based application integration.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with mobile applications.
• Experience with UML and BPMN process modelling.
• Experience with web-based digital platforms.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modelling tools.
• Experience with cloud migration projects or cloud-based application environments.
