NN Belgium is seeking a Functional Analyst to bridge business and development within our IT Delivery team. You translate business needs into functional solutions, document requirements, and ensure alignment with architectural vision in an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with analysts and developers, design test scenarios, maintain existing applications, and contribute to end-to-end processes. Strong English and French, plus hands-on mindset, are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Experience with functional analysis deliverables: context diagrams, UML, flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, user stories/use cases, logical data models, fit-gap analyses.
• Strong English and good French proficiency.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
• Experience with in-house development and/or package implementation.
• Excellent communication with teams and stakeholders.
• Team player with ownership and Agile mindset.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and understand business needs.
• Understanding of inbound/outbound processes and related flows.
• Ability to assess feasibility, completeness and consistency of requirements.
• Experience documenting and validating business rules and calculations.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear functional documentation for developers.
• Willingness to support administrative and team tasks.
• Nice to have: knowledge of programming, APIs, or Document Management Systems (DMS).

Responsabilités

• Convert business needs into functional and non-functional requirements via user stories, use cases, data models, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers to reach a realistic solution.
• Clarify feasibility and complexity of requirements.
• Lead building of test scenarios and test cases; coordinate execution.
• Ensure smooth operation of existing applications and resolve incidents.
• Deliver essential functional documentation for the team and the business.
• Adopt an end-to-end mindset considering environmental impacts of solutions.
• Provide additional support to business analysts when necessary.
