Sciensano is seeking a full-stack Drupal developer to strengthen its IT Development Department’s web team. You will design architectures, build high-performance Drupal websites and forms, and manage the full development lifecycle from analysis to maintenance.

With a Bachelor’s in computer science and at least 2 years in full-stack web development (Drupal preferred), you will apply DevOps practices, automate tasks, and ensure security and interoperability of developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software development, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 2 years of relevant experience in full-stack web development, ideally with Drupal; an experience in backend/frontend development, DevOps, automation, or Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
• Passionate about IT, you regularly keep up to date with technological developments
• Excellent knowledge of : the Drupal 10/11 platform (configuration, backend and frontend development, troubleshooting); PHP development; Ubuntu, Windows 11, and MySQL; HTML, CSS, and Vue.js; REST APIs; Drush, Composer, and Git
• Knowledge of the following is considered a plus: Laravel; MS Azure DevOps; Kubernetes, Docker; SOLR indexing and search platform; SCRUM framework
• General Skills: teamwork skills; organizational skills and ability to work independently; rigorous and detail-oriented; ability to meet deadlines;
• Languages : good written and spoken proficiency in English; good written and spoken proficiency in French r Dutch
