Basalte is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design and build intuitive web and mobile applications, including backend and cloud services powering high-end smart home solutions. You will contribute to prototyping, testing and delivering seamless user experiences across platforms.

You will work on iOS, Android and web apps, participate in the full development cycle, design and maintain APIs, and continuously improve existing applications while supporting release testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience building iOS, Android and web apps; Flutter preferred; Angular/React a plus.
• Experience with backend and cloud environments (AWS).
• Proficient in Dart, Kotlin, Swift, Node.js.
• Analytical, hands-on, independent and deadline-driven.
• Fluent in English or Dutch.

As a Full Stack Developer at Basalte your mission is to...

Design and build intuitive web and mobile applications, including the backend and cloud services that power our high‑end smart home solutions. You'll contribute to every step of the development process, from prototyping and testing to creating seamless user experiences across platforms.

You will be responsible for...

• The development of new iOS, Android and web applications, both front‑end and back‑end.
• You will be involved in the full development cycle, from concept to release.
• Designing and maintaining the APIs and backend services behind our applications.
• The maintenance and continuous improvement of our existing applications. On the one hand, you assist our technical support team in analysing and solving reported problems. On the other hand, you cooperate in implementing and testing new releases.

We expect you to ...

• Have at least a bachelor of computer science, bachelor of multimedia and communication technology or bachelor of applied computer science.
• Have experience building iOS, Android and web apps, preferably in Flutter. Knowledge of Angular or React is also a plus.
• Have experience with backend development and cloud environments (e.g. AWS).
• Have experience in one or more of the following technologies: Dart, Kotlin, Swift, Node.js, ...
• Be analytical, think logically and have a hands‑on mentality.
• Be a go‑getter and work independently with attention to deadlines.
• Be perfectly fluent in English or Dutch.
