ING Wholesale Banking in Brussels offers an Internship in Portfolio Management within the Lending unit. Location: Av Marnix 24, 1000 Brussels. You will support analytics, monitor the lending portfolio and help optimize returns while coordinating with Risk, Legal and back-office teams.

As an intern, you will gain exposure to credit monitoring, market developments and cross-functional processes to enhance regulatory readiness and portfolio optimization.

Qualifications

• As part of a masters' degree, you will apply financial and analytical skills to the lending portfolio.
• You will demonstrate strong academic performance in relevant courses.
• Interest in Energy, Infrastructure or Real Estate sectors is preferred.
• You are an inclusive team player and eager to learn.
• You are committed to continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Fluency in English; French/Dutch is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Support the team in managing lending transactions in the portfolio.
• Perform credit monitoring through covenants and operating performance reviews.
• Identify and raise Early Warning Signals for credit deterioration.
• Monitor market developments and their impact on the portfolio.
• Promote operational excellence and assist strategic initiatives.
