Vivid Resourcing is representing a fast-growing Belgian SaaS scale-up seeking a senior front-end developer who thinks like a designer and builds like an engineer. You will own the front-end across a TypeScript application and a PHP-backend rendering stack, shaping the product’s look and feel from scratch.

The role blends UI thinking with hands-on development, reporting to the CTO and working with leadership on design sign-off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience making real UI/UX decisions
• Strong eye for interface design and ability to build from scratch
• Excellent semantic HTML and SCSS/Bootstrap skills
• Solid TypeScript, with real Vue.js experience (components, state, routing)
• Comfortable enough in PHP to work within that environment
• Understanding of performance (Core Web Vitals) and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA)
• Experience prototyping in Figma or similar
• Portfolio showing original design thinking, not just implementation
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Responsabilités

• Own the front-end across two stacks (TypeScript app and PHP-rendered frontend)
• Sketch, prototype, and build screens from scratch with only brand guidelines
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and secure leadership sign-off on designs

On behalf of a fast-growing Belgian SaaS scale-up, we're looking for a senior front-end developer who thinks like a designer and builds like an engineer.

This company helps businesses across Europe manage their finances more efficiently through complex web platforms. They're expanding fast and need someone who can shape the product's look and feel from scratch - not just implement someone else's mockups.

There's no design team here. New screens and interactions start as a blank page, with only the brand's colours and typography as guardrails. You will sketch, prototype, and build those ideas themselves - working closely with the CTO day to day, and getting sign-off from leadership once a design is ready.

It's a hybrid role: equal parts UI thinking and hands-on front-end development. One product is a TypeScript app; the other runs on a PHP backend with server-rendered templates. You are comfortable owning the front-end across both.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience making real UI/UX decisions, not just executing them
• A strong eye for interface design, and the confidence to build something from nothing
• Excellent semantic HTML and SCSS/Bootstrap skills
• Solid TypeScript, with real Vue.js experience (components, state, routing)
• Comfortable enough in PHP to work within that environment, even without writing backend logic
• An understanding of performance (Core Web Vitals) and accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA)
• Experience prototyping in Figma or similar
• A portfolio that shows original design thinking, not just implementation
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Nice to have:

experience with Nuxt, a deeper PHP background, or prior work in B2B SaaS.
