Vertis Environmental Finance in Brussels is seeking a Corporate Sales Trader to join our front-office carbon trading desk. You will build strong client relationships, analyze market trends, and execute trades in EU Allowances (EUAs) while advising on risk management and hedging strategies.

You will work with corporate clients to meet compliance obligations and navigate the EU ETS, shaping climate-friendly strategies.

Formación

• 3+ years of proven sales experience in sales trading, finance, commodities, or environmental markets.
• Excellent communication skills in French (native) and English (professional).
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required by regulation).

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with corporate clients.
• Understand client compliance needs and provide tailored trading solutions.
• Execute trades in EUAs and related instruments in line with client objectives.
• Monitor market developments and share timely insights to support client decision-making.
• Offer guidance on risk management strategies, including hedging options.
• Represent Vertis at industry events, webinars, conferences, and client meetings.
• Become a subject matter expert in carbon markets and EU ETS.
