Job summary

Ahlers is seeking an Operational Excellence & Systems Adoption Lead, Freight Forwarding, to advance our OMS/TMS rollout across international forwarding teams. You will drive consistent processes, improve shipment file follow-up, and enable reliable execution.

With 5–8 years in freight forwarding and hands-on experience with OMS/TMS adoption, you will coach teams, manage cross-country projects, and embed improvements with local process owners.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in international freight forwarding.
• Experience implementing or improving OMS/TMS adoption.
• Strong project management and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, logistics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with local teams to understand bottlenecks and improve operational workflows.
• Establish practical and consistent processes, with clear responsibilities and shipment milestones.
• Help colleagues use the OMS/TMS confidently and consistently through coaching, training and hands-on support.
• Lead improvement projects across different offices and countries.
• Track progress and embed improvements together with local process owners and key users.
