A creative studio in Belgium is seeking a VFX Supervisor to lead projects and ensure high artistic and technical standards. The role involves establishing visual direction, collaborating with producers for planning, and mentoring teams across departments. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in the VFX industry and a deep understanding of the entire VFX pipeline. The position is freelance starting from January 2026, based in Genval, 20 km from Brussels.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years of experience in the VFX industry, including a strong background as a Senior or Lead Artist.
• Exceptional understanding of the entire VFX pipeline, including modeling, texturing, lighting, FX, rendering, and compositing.
• Ability to lead and mentor large teams with excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Establish the project’s visual direction and create artistic guidelines.
• Collaborate with the VFX Producer for accurate production planning and asset estimation.
• Lead and mentor departments, ensuring high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
• Conduct comprehensive project evaluations and reporting post-project.
