Vivid Resourcing is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer on a freelance basis to design and manage data pipelines across a central data platform that supports reporting, analytics and business processes.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and advancing the Azure data environment in collaboration with data stakeholders and technical teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Good experience with Python.
• Experience with ETL / ELT and data pipelines.
• Experience integrating data from multiple source systems.
• Good understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working in complex or enterprise data environments.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with technical and business teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain data pipelines in Microsoft Azure.
• Build and optimise ETL / ELT processes.
• Integrate data from multiple internal and external source systems.
• Work with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Develop data transformation solutions using SQL and Python.
• Build and maintain datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Support data modelling and data integration activities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise data pipelines.
• Improve data quality and reliability across the data environment.
• Work with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Support documentation and data engineering best practices.
