Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Founding AI Engineer to build and scale AI-powered solutions for an e-commerce platform. You will work closely with founders to develop LLM-based applications, AI agents, and automation tools to optimise product data management and commercial operations.

The role emphasizes ownership, end-to-end delivery, and shaping the technical direction, with a hybrid work model based in Mechelen.

Qualifications

> 2–5 years of AI/ML or software engineering experience.
> Strong Python programming and CS fundamentals.
> Hands-on deployment of AI/ML in production.
> Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, RAG, or AI agents.
> Experience with structured/unstructured data, APIs, and cloud environments.
> Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

> Build AI solutions end to end for e-commerce, from design to production.
"> Develop generative AI apps, LLM-powered tools, RAG systems, NLP solutions, and agents.
> Automate commerce workflows in product data management and customer operations.
