VeroTech in Belgium is seeking a Fluid Dynamics and Machine Learning Expert to join our engineering community. You will drive advanced CFD simulations and thermal analyses, coupling physics with ML techniques to influence product development across multiple sectors.

You’ll define simulation strategies, integrate them into development cycles, mentor colleagues, and communicate capabilities and limits of simulation to stakeholders worldwide while enjoying hybrid work and a broad compensation

Qualifications

• Strong background in engineering or science with a research-oriented mindset.
• Solid experience with fluid dynamics and CFD simulations.
• Experience with machine-learning techniques and programming.
• Experience with flow and/or thermal measurements.
• Proven ability to translate opportunities into development roadmaps and mentor colleagues.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.

About The Role

As a VeroTech consultant, you help shape product optimisation through advanced fluid-dynamic and thermal simulation. Working closely with global product development teams, you combine deep physics expertise with machine-learning techniques to strengthen design decisions and ensure simulations add value early in development.

You define effective simulation strategies, help integrate them into the development cycle, and keep track of the state of the art in fluid dynamics, thermal analysis and machine-learning techniques. You also translate improvement opportunities into roadmaps, mentor junior colleagues, and explain the capabilities and limitations of simulation to stakeholders worldwide.

What we're looking for

You bring a strong academic background in engineering or science, solid simulation expertise, and a research-oriented mindset. You work carefully, think creatively, and communicate well with others in technical discussions.

• Master of Engineering Science or Master of Science
• PhD or research experience in the domain
• Strong experience with fluid dynamics and CFD simulations
• Experience with machine-learning techniques and programming
• Experience with flow and/or thermal measurements
• A strong interest in research, technical challenges, and a problem-solving and creative mindset
• Proven team player with excellent interpersonal communication, plus a critical attitude and attention to detail
