ECS in Zeebrugge is seeking a Fleet Repair Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of containers and trailers, ensuring safe, reliable and top-condition units.

You will join a close-knit team, receive extensive internal training, and work on a flexi-job on-site with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding (semi-automatic and electric).
• Experience in bodywork or steel-processing repair is a plus.
• You work safely, accurately and in an organised manner.
• You have an eye for finishing, order and cleanliness.
• You can work independently, yet you are also a strong team player.
• You are helpful, flexible and show initiative.
• You speak and understand Dutch and/or English well.

As a Fleet Repair Technician, you play a crucial part in keeping our fleet of containers and trailers fully operational. You’ll join a close‑knit team where craftsmanship, safety and quality are at the heart of everything we do. With a thorough internal training programme, you’ll receive all the knowledge and support needed to take on your role with confidence.

Your role & responsibilities
After completing an extensive internal training, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of containers and trailers according to established procedures. You ensure that every unit leaves our site safely, reliably and in top condition.

Working hours
This is a temporary, on-call position (Flexi-job).
The working hours are 08:00 AM to 04:18 PM, Monday to Friday.

Profile

You recognise yourself in the following skills and qualities:

• Experience in welding (semi‑automatic and electric); TIG welding is an asset
• Experience in bodywork or another steel‑processing repair environment is a plus
• You work safely, accurately and in an organised manner
• You have an eye for finishing, order and cleanliness
• You can work independently, yet you are also a strong team player
• You are helpful, flexible and show initiative
• You speak and understand Dutch and/or English well
