A leading media organization in Antwerp is seeking a FinOps Practitioner for their Cloud & Hosting team. In this strategic role, you will drive cost transparency and governance in cloud economics, enabling a culture of shared responsibility across teams. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in FinOps and a solid understanding of AWS and Azure billing models. This hybrid position allows for flexibility with work-from-home days, while requiring presence in the Antwerp office two days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FinOps, cloud economics, or IT financial management.
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in using dashboards and reporting tools like Power BI and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Lead the implementation of showback and enforce cloud tagging standards.
• Establish cost transparency across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud environments.
• Build rolling forecasts and advise on contract and commitment decisions.

Connaissances

Proven experience in FinOps, cloud economics, or IT financial management (5+ years)

In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure billing models and tagging strategies

Ability to link architectural decisions to cost implications

Experience with dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel)

Formation

FinOps Certified Practitioner and cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)

Your role includes.

You’ll lead the implementation of showback, enforce cloud tagging standards, and translate data into actionable insights that influence architecture and behavior. Working closely with cloud architects and application teams, you’ll make sure reporting is accurate, meaningful, and drives the right decisions. This is a strategic role focused on governance and stakeholder engagement. You will lead discussions in the areas of governance, forecasting, optimization and cultural adoption end to end.

More specific:

• Establish cost transparency across AWS, Azure, GCP and private cloud environments.
• Define and maintain unit cost metrics, and deliver dashboards and reports for executives, finance, and solution owners.
• Build rolling forecasts and advise on contract and commitment decisions.
• Enable the culture : run trainings and educate teams on FinOps Foundation concepts. Effectively turning cloud cost management into a shared responsibility
