Michael Page is partnering with an international organization to appoint a high-caliber right-hand to the Head of Controlling in Brussels. The role focuses on consolidating financial reporting, delivering insightful analyses, and driving automation and data quality across the finance function.

The successful candidate will work closely with multiple controllers, manage budgeting and month-end activities, and interact with senior stakeholders in a hybrid, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, controlling, or audit.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Experience with reporting and automation tools is a strong asset.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Consolidate financial and management reporting from various business areas ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Deliver consolidated reporting and analyses to support management decision-making.
• Review financial data, perform reconciliations, and identify key variances and trends.
• Act as the reference point for reporting standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Drive automation and process improvements with a focus on reporting efficiency and data quality.
• Leverage Excel and reporting tools to optimize financial processes and reporting capabilities.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Controlling, you will act as the reporting expert within the team and work closely with multiple Business Controllers across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Consolidating financial and management reporting from various business areas and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial data;
• Delivering consolidated reporting and analyses to support management decision-making;
• Reviewing financial data, performing reconciliations, and identifying key variances and trends;
• Acting as the point of reference for reporting standards, methodologies, and best practices;
• Driving automation and process improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on reporting efficiency and data quality;
