Rolls-Royce Solutions Liège (RRSL) in Grâce-Hollogne, Belgium, seeks a Finance Controller to manage monthly closings and reporting, lead budget planning, and drive the BEGAAP/IFRS consolidation process. The role collaborates across functions to ensure accurate forecasts and reliable financials.

The successful candidate will have a Master in Finance, several years in manufacturing finance, strong analytics, ERP familiarity, and fluency in French and English.

Qualifications

• Master in Finance required.
• Couple of years of relevant work experience (audit or similar) preferred in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of BEGAAP, IFRS, consolidation.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Familiar with ERP systems; IT skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing: produce financial reports and analysis.
• Close projects for revenue recognition and provisions.
• Analyze OPEX/CAPEX and warranty provisions.
• Monitor inventory and indirect costs; perform monthly reconciliations (BEGAAP & IFRS).
• Prepare monthly reports; support budget/forecast planning.
• Lead project reviews with internal stakeholders; track lessons learned.
• Oversee standard costing reviews and internal controls implementation.
• Cash forecasting for treasury and participation in cash pooling.

For our office in Liège (Grâce-Hollogne), Belgium, we are looking for a controller who will be responsible to control and report the monthly figures to enable our Head-Quarter to build-up accurate and reliable consolidated accounts. The controller takes the lead on the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reports variances that can assist in decision-making.

Key Tasks

• Monthly closing: Production of periodic financial reports and analysis
• Closing of projects for the revenue recognition (provisions, etc.)
• Analysis of OPEX/CAPEX
• Controlling of warranty provision and inventory (including risk assessment)
• Monthly reports
• Planning process for the plant: Budget Forecast
• Controlling: Analysis of projects with internal stakeholders (tracking, lessons learned, etc.)
• Review regularly standard costing
• Monitoring activities (allocation keys, indirect costs, non-allocated costs)
• Monthly reconciliation (BGAAP & IFRS)
• Actively participate as a financial expert to project reviews and kick-off meetings
• Internal Control: Rolls-Royce Internal Framework implementation – follow-up
• Monthly monitoring of controls
• Gensets: Implementation of the new controlling processes for Gensets
• Treasury: Cash forecast for the cash pooling

Qualifications

• Master in Finance.
• Couple of years of relevant work experience (financial audit or similar function) preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of BEGAAP, IFRS, consolidation, etc.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• IT skills : Bob, Microsoft office.
• Familiar to an ERP is an asset.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English Attention to details and ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.
• Able to work well independently as well as with others and is a positive role model for ethical behavior, fairness and integrity
