Rolls-Royce Solutions Liège (RRSL) is looking for a Controller to manage monthly closes, budget planning, and financial forecasting in Liège, Belgium. The role involves analysis of OPEX/CAPEX, warranty provisions, and inventory, with active participation in project reviews and finance kick-offs.

The candidate should have a Master in Finance, experience in manufacturing, and strong knowledge of BEGAAP and IFRS.

Competenze

• Master in Finance or equivalent with strong analytical capabilities.

• Monitor internal controls and Roll-Royce framework implementation.
• Oversee treasury activities including cash forecasting for pooling.

Job Description

Rolls-Royce Solutions Liège (RRSL) is a subsidiary of Rolls-Royce Power Systems; a division of Rolls-Royce plc. Our mtu Kinetic PowerPacks support critical applications in a wide range of sectors such as data centres, critical process manufacturing, infrastructure and healthcare. While we are in the business of electrical uptime and availability, our people are at the heart of our business. In Rolls-Royce Solutions Liège (RRSL), we ensure reliable power protection. For our office in Liège (Grâce-Hollogne), Belgium, we are looking for a controller who will be responsible to control and report the monthly figures to enable our Head-Quarter to build-up accurate and reliable consolidated accounts. The controller takes the lead on the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and reports variances that can assist in decision-making.

Controller (Fulltime)

Key Tasks

• Monthly closing:
  • Production of periodic financial reports and analysis
  • Closing of projects for the revenue recognition (provisions, etc.)
  • Analysis of OPEX/CAPEX
  • Controlling of warranty provision and inventory (including risk assessment)
  • Monthly reports
• Planning process for the plant:
  • Budget
  • Forecast
• Controlling:
  • Analysis of projects with internal stakeholders (tracking, lessons learned, etc.)
  • Review regularly standard costing
  • Monitoring activities (allocation keys, indirect costs, non-allocated costs)
  • Monthly reconciliation (BGAAP & IFRS)
  • Actively participate as a financial expert to project reviews and kick-off meetings
• Internal Control:
  • Rolls-Royce Internal Framework implementation – follow-up
  • Monthly monitoring of controls
• Gensets:
  • Implementation of the new controlling processes for Gensets
• Treasury:
  • Cash forecast for the cash pooling

Qualifications

• Master in Finance.
• Couple of years of relevant work experience (financial audit or similar function) preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of BEGAAP, IFRS, consolidation, etc.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• IT skills : Bob, Microsoft office.
• Familiar to an ERP is an asset.
• Languages: Fluent in French and English
• Attention to details and ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.
• Able to work well independently as well as with others and is a positive role model for ethical behavior, fairness and integrity
