BDO Belgium is seeking a Financial Advisory Consultant - Infrastructure & Real Estate to join our Deal & Valuation Advisory team in Belgium. You will develop robust business plans, financial models and investment analyses for infrastructure, energy and real estate projects.

You bring a Master’s in Finance or related field and 2–3 years of experience in financial modelling, project finance or advisory, plus fluency in Dutch or French and English; an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in financial modelling, project finance, infrastructure investments or related advisory.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to build robust financial models.

Responsabilités

What will you be doing?

As a Financial Advisory Consultant, you support private and public sector clients in developing robust business plans, financial models and investment analyses. You combine strong analytical capabilities with a keen interest in infrastructure, real estate and project finance.Working alongside experienced Corporate Finance professionals, you contribute to strategic projects from inception through execution, helping clients make informed investment and financing decisions.

Some responsibilities we trust you with:

• Supporting clients and project teams in the development of business plans and financial analyses.
• Building and maintaining advanced Excel-based financial models for investment and financing transactions.
• Performing financial and commercial analyses to assess project viability and investment opportunities.
• Preparing client presentations, reports and financial documentation.
• Participating in client meetings and supporting proposal development.
• Working closely with colleagues and Partners on ongoing transactions and advisory assignments.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of modelling methodologies and analytical tools.

What do you bring to the table?

• A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Commercial Engineering or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in financial modelling, project finance, infrastructure investments, renewable energy, corporate banking, transaction advisory or a similar environment.
• A strong interest in infrastructure, real estate and investment projects.
• Advanced Excel skills and the willingness to further develop expertise in financial modelling, valuation and project finance techniques.
• Knowledge of VBA and/or FAST Modelling Standards is considered a strong asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with great attention to detail.
• The ability to structure complex information and translate it into clear financial insights.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work.
• The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Professional fluency in Dutch or French, combined with a strong command of English.
