BDO Belgium in Brussels is seeking a Senior Consultant Accountancy to translate financial data into strategic insights that help SMEs to international companies make informed decisions. You will work closely with managers and partners to deliver quality financial services and leadership.

The role includes managing multiple client accounts, visiting clients for advisory sessions, and delivering accurate financial statements and tax returns. Mentoring colleagues supports your leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics.
• At least 2 years of significant accounting experience with solid technical skills.
• ITAA certification is a plus (we’ll support your journey).
• Fluency in French and proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Curious mindset with creative problem-solving and collaborative approach.

Responsabilités

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Consultant Accountancy, you'll collaborate closely with managers and partners to:

• Independently manage various client accounts.
• Offer your clients personalised and pragmatic financial advise through regular visits. You’re their go-to business advisor, carrying them from point A to point Z.
• Tackle detailed financial tasks: update clients’ financial results, prepare interim balance sheets, manage VAT returns, and compile annual financial statements and tax returns.
• Develop future talent by mentoring junior colleagues while building your leadership skills.
