Job summary

Trifinance in Charleroi is seeking a Finance Project Accountant to lead IFRS consolidations and drive standardization across entities. You will partner with external consultants, auditors and IFRS advisors to ensure timely, high-quality financial reporting.

The role focuses on improving controls, consolidations tooling and manual guidance, enabling consistent closing practices across the group.

Qualifications

• A degree in accounting, finance or audit.
• 5–8 years of experience in accounting, finance or external audit.
• Interest in Be GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Run quarterly and annual consolidation under IFRS across group entities with external consultants.
• Operate and improve the group consolidation tool: mappings, intercompany reconciliations, FX, eliminations and reporting packages.
• Review accounting operations by designing, rolling out and monitoring internal controls.
• Improve the quality, reliability and timeliness of group financial reporting.
• Coordinate with local finance teams, external auditors and IFRS consultants; manage requests and timelines.
• Maintain and evolve the group accounting manual and consolidation guidelines under IFRS.
• Standardise closing practices and chart-of-accounts mapping across entities for consistency.

For our client located in Charleroi, we are looking for a Finance Project Accountant. In collaboration with external consultants you will take an active role in the group consolidation. You will serve as the primary contact between external auditors, IFRS advisors and the finance team. In this role you oversee and challenge accounting operations by designing and implementing internal controls, enhancing reporting quality and driving standardization of processes across entities abroad.## Your challenge* Run the quarterly and annual consolidation process under IFRS across all Group entities, with the support of external consultants* Operate, maintain and continuously improve the Group consolidation tool: mappings, intercompany reconciliations, FX, eliminations and reporting packages* Review and assess the accounting operations across subsidiaries by designing, rolling out and monitoring internal controls* Improve the quality, reliability and timeliness of Group financial reporting* Act as the central point of contact between local finance teams, external auditors and external IFRS consultants; coordinating requests, deliverables and timelines* Maintain and evolve the Group accounting manual and consolidation guidelines under IFRS* Standardise closing practices and chart-of-accounts mapping across entities to ensure consistency and comparability## Your profile* A degree in accounting, finance or audit* Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting, finance, external audit* Interest to work in different accounting standards (Be Gaap, IFRS)* Fluency in French and English, written and spoken## Our offer* Competitive salary depending on your experience* Position in a fast growing company* Flexible working hours
