Elysia-Raytest in Liège region is seeking a Field Service Engineer with IT knowledge to install, qualify, train and maintain analytical equipment at customer sites. You will support IT integration, assist QA/R&D, and investigate software issues while liaising with customers to ensure satisfaction.

The role requires strong French and English, willingness to travel Europe and internationally (up to 50% initially, then ~25%), and a driving license. A Bachelor/Master in relevant fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master level in Computer Sciences, technical field, sciences or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Databases (SQL Server), Operating Systems and Networking.
• Programming skills are highly appreciated.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – IT (EN-FR)

For our head office in Ougrée (Liège area), we are currently looking for a:

Function

To strengthen our Technical Service department in our Head Office in Liège, we are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer with IT knowledge who:

• Is responsible for the execution of installation activities (incl. qualifications) with regard to analytical equipment on customer locations.
• Conducts training of customer personnel on our equipment.
• Performs modification, service, repair and maintenance activities with regard to our equipment on customer locations.
• Supports IT integration within customer infrastructure.
• Helps QA and R&D for development and validation of new software.
• Investigate software problems to help service and R&D team.
• Makes the liaison with customers to establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship as well as follow‑up with customers' concerns and problems.
• Answers questions from colleagues about technical developments, modifications and product specifications.
• Reads, maintains and creates the Service Department Documentation such as user manuals, installation manuals, training documents…
• Gains a deep understanding of our products and services, identifies and fills product gaps, generates new ideas to increase our market share, improve customer experience and quality of services and drive growth.

Qualification and experience

• Bachelor/ Master level in Computer Sciences, technical field, sciences or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Databases (SQL Server), Operating Systems and Networking.
• Programming skills are highly appreciated.
• Knowledge of Chromatography Data Systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of French and English is required; other languages is a plus.
• Driving license is mandatory
