Job summary

ABB Belgium is looking for a Field Service Engineer Electrification to maintain and commission low- and medium-voltage installations at industrial sites in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, reliable operation.

You will travel to customer sites, work independently, and collaborate with local teams while upholding strict safety procedures. Fluency in Dutch and French, English communication, and a relevant degree are required; a valid

Qualifications

• Degree in Electricity, Electromechanics or Energy Technology is required.
• Experience with industrial electrical installations or power systems or motivation to deepen expertise.
• Fluency in Dutch and French; ability to communicate in English.
• Willingness to travel to customers in Belgium and Luxembourg; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of low- and medium-voltage installations.
• Work on heavy electrical systems between 400V and 36,000V and up to 600 amperes.
• Test and inspect switchgear to ensure safe operation.
• Prepare intervention, testing and maintenance reports and document protocols correctly.
• Support customers with reliable service while following strict safety procedures.
