Pauwels Consulting is looking for an experienced project coordinator to lead end-to-end fiber infrastructure projects, guiding them from intake through design, permitting and handover to construction teams. In a hybrid setup across Ghent and Mechelen, you will coordinate site surveys, permit processes and stakeholder relations with public authorities and utilities, with frequent onsite visits.

The role requires 3+ years in telecom, utilities or construction, strong planning and risk management

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in project coordination or project management.
Background in telecom, utilities, infrastructure, or construction.
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently and overseeing field operations or site visits.
Experience with permitting processes and interacting with municipalities or public authorities.
Strong stakeholder management, planning, and risk management skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities; proactive and hands-on in a fast-changing environment.
Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

Manage multiple infrastructure deployment projects simultaneously from intake through to construction readiness.
Review network designs and validate technical feasibility in coordination with engineering teams.
Organize and conduct site visits and surveys to assess project prerequisites.
Coordinate permit requests and municipal approvals while managing relationships with public authorities and utility companies.
Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets to ensure quality expectations are met.
Provide regular status updates and ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate.
