Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Design Engineer to support network expansion in Belgium, focusing on end-to-end fiber and copper network development and maintenance for diverse customer needs.

You will translate studies into detailed designs for construction teams, manage documentation releases, and ensure data quality while collaborating with field colleagues. Fluency in Dutch or French with good English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Access).
• Interest in telecom sector.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, able to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Fluent in Dutch or French with good English understanding.

Responsabilités

• Develop technical solutions for the adaptation and extension of fiber and copper networks based on infrastructure renewal and customer requests.
• Optimize project execution considering operational complexity, resource management, and budget constraints.
• Translate global studies into detailed technical files and documented designs for construction teams.
• Manage the release of final documentation and ensure data is accurately recorded in the database.
• Support construction colleagues with technical queries and monitor overall data quality.
• Coordinate specific project domains or road work initiatives based on specialized expertise.
