Qualifications

You will serve as a Hardware and Maintenance Engineer for semiconductor FAB projects, supporting daily operations and maintenance activities. You will combine practical engineering execution with technical planning to ensure smooth cleanroom operations and warehouse organization. The role bridges technical troubleshooting, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement across equipment and facilities.

You will prepare and execute preventive maintenance, maintain critical cleanroom SOPs, and coordinate material procurement with external partners. Working closely with cleanroom teams and project leaders, you will maintain technical documentation, perform software and PC backups, and ensure strict compliance with safety standards. You will rapidly solve technical problems, manage spare parts inventory, and support ongoing FAB installations and upgrades.

Assignment: 1 year with a possibility of prolongation

Contract: permanent payroll contract

Responsibilities

• Order technical parts, manage materials procurement, and maintain supplier communications.
• Support cleanroom Preventive Maintenance (PM) planning, preparation, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Complete post-PM validation activities, logging, and technical documentation.
• Write, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleanroom and equipment operations.
• Perform routine software and PC backups for equipment systems and FAB infrastructure.
• Provide direct technical engineering support for ongoing cleanroom and FAB projects.
• Package, uncrate, move, and position technical equipment and machinery components.
• Manage warehouse stock levels, inventory tracking, and component organization.
• Maintain an organized, efficient, and safety-compliant warehouse environment.

Main requirements

• Master’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechanics, Electricity, or Electronics with 2+ years of relevant work experience post-masters.
• Strong technical and practical background in electromechanics, electronics, and electrical systems.
• Proven technical troubleshooting abilities and analytical reporting skills.
• Practical, hands-on engineering approach with a strict safety mindset and safety awareness.
• Fluent Dutch, both written and spoken.
• Advanced English.

Other requirements

• Ability to safely handle, uncrate, and organize heavy technical equipment and machinery parts.

Nice to have, but not mandatory

• Experience working in cleanroom or semiconductor FAB environments.
• Experience with AutoCAD for technical drawings or schematics.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization, tracking, and operational reporting.
• Representation bonus of €140-€200 per month.
