Qplox engineering in Belgium seeks a hands-on Technical / Maintenance Engineer to support daily operations, maintenance activities, and FAB projects. You will manage parts orders, supplier coordination, SOP maintenance, PM planning, backups, and technical support for cleanroom projects.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Electromechanics or related fields, strong electromechanical knowledge, analytical skills, and a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electromechanics or related field.
• Strong knowledge in electromechanics, electronics and/or electricity.
• Analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
• Hands-on, practical approach.
• Safety mindset and awareness is mandatory.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Power BI is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Order technical parts and materials


• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers


• Support Cleanroom PM planning


• Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)


• Perform software and PC backups


• Provide technical support to cleanroom projects


• Prepare Preventive Maintenance activities


• Assist with PM execution and troubleshooting


• Complete post-PM activities and documentation

Warehouse

• Package and uncrate technical equipment and parts


• Manage and maintain stock


• Ensure an organized and safe warehouse environment

We are looking for someone with:

• A Master's degree in Electromechanics (ideally), or a background in Mechanics, Electricity, or Electronics


• Strong technical knowledge in electromechanics, electronics and/or electricity


• Good analytical and reporting skills


• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems


• A practical, hands-on approach


• A strong safety mindset — safety awareness is mandatory


• Fluent English and Dutch, both written and spoken
