Consort Belgium is seeking a skilled F5 Networking & Security Engineer to design, implement and manage F5 BIG-IP solutions across multi-site data centres in Brussels. You will contribute to application delivery, load balancing and security, while ensuring high availability and performance.

You should have advanced F5 experience, strong IP networking knowledge, and IT security expertise, with Dutch, French and English language skills supported for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in electronics, ICT or telecommunications.
• In-depth knowledge of IP networks and multi-site data centres.
• Advanced knowledge of F5 solutions and complex environment design/implementation.
• Solid IT security concepts, architectures and implementations.

Responsabilités

• Design load balancing and high-availability architectures.
• Design and implement F5 BIG-IP solutions for application delivery and traffic management.
• Configure virtual servers, pools, nodes, monitors, iRules, SSL profiles and policies.
• Deploy AWAF policies and integrate authentication with APM and identity services.
• Administer and maintain F5 BIG-IP infrastructure and perform patches and upgrades.
• Provide incident, problem and change management support and document procedures.

F5 Networking & Security Engineer H/F

As an F5 Networking & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring and managing F5 BIG-IP solutions within complex multi-site environments and data centres. You will contribute to application load balancing, high availability, security and traffic management while supporting the performance, reliability and lifecycle of the F5 infrastructure.

Build side

• Design load balancing and high-availability architectures
• Design and implement F5 BIG-IP solutions for application delivery and network traffic management
• Configure virtual servers, pools, nodes, monitors, iRules, SSL profiles and traffic policies
• Deploy and manage Web Application Firewall (AWAF) solutions and policies according to business needs
• Integrate authentication and access management using APM and enterprise identity services
• Configure SSL/TLS, SSL offloading, encryption and traffic inspection
• Contribute to performance tuning, capacity planning and service optimisation

Run side

• Administer and maintain F5 BIG-IP infrastructure
• Provide support for incident, problem and change management
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot application delivery, connectivity and performance issues
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates and related configurations
• Perform security patching, software upgrades and lifecycle management
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Provide knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders

This is your background

You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, ICT or Telecommunications, or have equivalent technical experience in the field.

You have in-depth conceptual, practical and operational knowledge of IP networks and their management in multi-site environments and data centres.

You have advanced knowledge of F5 solutions and significant experience designing and implementing F5 solutions in complex environments.

You also have knowledge and experience of IT security concepts, architectures and implementations.
