ILIAS Solutions in Belgium seeks an experienced System and Network Administrator to own and secure mission critical IT systems supporting Belgian Defence operations. On-site, full-time role focused on stability, security and continuity across Windows, Linux, networks and virtualization.

You will monitor high-availability environments, manage backups, DR, and coordinated changes, working with on-site stakeholders to ensure uptime and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in system and network administration.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and switching.
• Experience with enterprise networking environments (e.g. Cisco or Juniper).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization, storage and backup.
• Experience working in mission critical or highly controlled environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and structured way of working
• Professional communication in English

Together with Belgian Defence, ILIAS Solutions manages the full data lifecycle and maintenance of the F-35 ALIS environment at Kleine Brogel Air Base.
