Pauwels Consulting is seeking an analytics expert to join the team in Brussels, delivering sophisticated reporting solutions for operational maintenance. The role combines functional analysis, development, and application ownership with a focus on SAP BW/BW/4HANA, WebI, SAC, and PowerBI.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in data analytics, 3+ years in transport, and is fluent in Dutch or French with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or Economics.
• 15+ years of experience in data analytics with SAP BW and SAP BW/4HANA.
• 3+ years of experience within the transport or railway sector.
• Expert knowledge of reporting tools including WebI, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud, and PowerBI.
• Hands-on experience with migration processes from SAP BW 7.x to SAP BW/4HANA.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and SAP PM modules.
• Certifications in SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere.
• Fluent in Dutch or French at a C1 level, with at least B2 level proficiency in English and the other national language.

Responsabilités

• Translate complex needs into functional specifications and technical mock-ups for reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with internal and external developers to validate and refine technical deliverables.
• Manage project roadmaps for application improvements, bug fixes, and incidents in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for reporting solutions and ensure consistency with business architecture.
• Support quality assurance through the development of test scenarios, functional testing, and data cleansing.

• You have a Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or Economics.
• You possess 15+ years of experience in data analytics with SAP BW and SAP BW/4HANA.
• You bring 3+ years of experience within the transport or railway sector.
• You have expert knowledge of reporting tools including Webi, SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Analytics Cloud, and PowerBI.
• You possess hands‑on experience with migration processes from SAP BW 7.x to SAP BW/4HANA.
• You have in‑depth knowledge of SAP MM and SAP PM modules.
• You possess valid certifications in SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere.
• You are proactive and solution‑oriented with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French at a C1 level, with at least B2 level proficiency in English and the other national language.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP PS.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with analysis techniques such as use cases and scenario development.
