Darwin Recruitment seeks an SAP BW/4HANA Application Analyst/Developer to join a hybrid team in Brussels, on a 12-month freelance contract with 40% on-site work. You will own BI reporting for a rail maintenance division, gathering needs, writing specs, building dashboards, and managing the improvement roadmap.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in SAP BW/BW/4HANA, 3+ years in rail, fluent Dutch and French with English at least B2, and strong skills in SAP Analytics Cloud, Webi and Power BI, plus

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP BW/BW/4HANA reporting and migrations.
• Gather requirements and translate to functional specifications.
• Knowledge of SAP PM and SAP MM modules.
• Fluent Dutch and French; English at least B2.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Webi and Power BI.
• SAP BW/BW/4HANA certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

Job title – SAP BW/4HANA Application Analyst / Developer

Project focus

Join a BI & Analytics team supporting the train maintenance division of a national rail operator. You’ll act as application owner, functional analyst and developer for SAP BW/4HANA based reporting, gathering requirements from department heads, turning them into functional specifications, building and validating reports and dashboards, and managing the roadmap for improvements, bugs and incidents. The work covers maintenance and immobilisation schedules, transport plans and workforce scheduling, with occasional site visits to workshops across the country.

Key skills and Experience required

• 15+ years’ hands-on experience with SAP BW and BW/4HANA


• 3+ years’ experience working in the railway sector


• Fluent Dutch and French plus English (C level in Dutch or French, B2 minimum in the others)


• Strong reporting tool experience: SAP Analytics Cloud, BusinessObjects / Webi and Power BI


• In-depth functional knowledge of SAP PM and SAP MM (FI/CO and PS a bonus)


• SAP certifications in BW, BW/4HANA and/or Datasphere


• Requirements analysis, functional specification writing, mock-ups and PoCs


• Test scenario design, functional testing and data cleansing


• Agile Scrum delivery experience


• Proven BW 7.x to BW/4HANA migration experience
