Autism Delaware in Newark, DE seeks an experienced Events Manager to lead all aspects of fundraising and social events, from concept through evaluation. The role emphasizes budget control, vendor contracts, ticketing, and post‑event reporting to meet annual revenue targets.

The candidate will coordinate with the Development Director, staff, volunteers and partners, ensuring inclusive practices and professional communication while managing timelines and competing priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, nonprofit management, or related field.
• 3+ years in event management, fundraising, marketing or related field with demonstrated success.

Responsabilités

• Oversee design, budgeting, staffing, logistics and evaluation of fundraising and social events.
• Manage vendor contracting, ticketing, silent auction and post‑event reporting.
• Serve as staff liaison to event and social/recreation committees and provide guidance and communications.
• Develop and report on development budgets and goals with the Development Director.
• Provide timely reporting aligned with Autism Delaware’s philosophy and strategic plan.
• Coordinate exhibitors, vendors and event activities; assist with staffing as needed.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support Autism Delaware’s mission.
