Imec in Leuven, Belgium, seeks an R&D Engineer in Patterning Materials to advance EUV lithography materials development within the Advanced Patterning department. You will drive EUV photoresists and underlayers, collaborate with suppliers, and lead Joint Development Projects to meet program needs.

You will travel domestically and internationally, develop IP opportunities, and contribute to scientific journals, leveraging strong problem-solving and communication skills in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lithography process and materials; experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Hands-on and willing to work in the cleanroom regularly.
• Outstanding communication skills for an international dynamic team.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate projects on EUV photoresists and underlayers with imec’s patterning material suppliers.
• Own and drive Joint Development Projects (JDPs) with material and equipment suppliers to support Advanced Patterning Process Program needs.
• Collaborate with material and equipment suppliers to identify issues and evaluate material and process modifications.
• Develop solutions using formal education, statistical knowledge, and in-house tools.
• Travel domestically and/or internationally to support responsibilities.
• Identify IP opportunities, file disclosures, present at conferences, and author articles for journals.
