imec, based in Leuven, Belgium, seeks a PhD-level materials researcher to join the EUV Lithography Materials team within the Advanced Patterning department. You will drive R&D for EUV patterning materials and lead joint development projects with suppliers.

You will work with a global network to resolve material and process challenges, develop solutions, and contribute to conferences and journals. Travel may be required to support responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PhD with strong background in lithography and photoresist
• Hands-on experience in cleanroom environments
• Experience collaborating with external suppliers and partners
• Ability to develop and present technical results to diverse audiences
• Strong data analysis, statistics, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Responsabilités

• Support R&D activities for EUV photoresists and underlayers with patterning material suppliers
• Own and drive Joint Development Projects (JDPs) with material and equipment suppliers
• Work with suppliers to identify issues and evaluate material/process modifications
• Develop solutions using formal education, statistics and in-house tools
• Travel as necessary to fulfill responsibilities
• Identify IP opportunities and write disclosures and publications
